Plano Elementary lockout lifted following report of ‘suspicious’ man in area

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – School officials are sharing information regarding a lockout at Plano Elementary School on Tuesday.
The following statement was issued this afternoon to families by Plano Elementary principal Ben Frasier:
“At Warren County Public Schools, we are dedicated to creating a safe and caring place for all students. We value open communication with families and will share important safety information when needed.”
“This afternoon, before school pick-up, a suspicious man was reported in the area near Plano Elementary. As is typical in these situations, the school was immediately placed on lockout and our SRO Director, local law enforcement agencies, as well as school and district leaders responded immediately, and law enforcement made contact with the person in question.
“During the investigation, the students were all safely inside the building and dismissal was delayed for a short period of time.
