Plane crashes while landing at Russellville-Logan County Airport

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – Thursday evening a single engine plane traveling from Christian County to Logan County had a rear tire blowout as the plane was attempting to land at the Russellville-Logan County Airport, according to a release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.

The plane skidded off of the runway and crashed down an embankment.

The pilot and the passenger walked away from the crash with no injuries, according to the release.

No other information was released.
