Plane crash reported near Louisville airport

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A plane has reportedly crashed in Louisville, causing a large smoke plume near Interstate 64 and Watterson Expressway.
WAVE reports a fire is burning near Louisville International Airport.
Details are limited at this time.
Gov. Andy Beshear shared a message to social media shortly after, stating, “Kentucky, we are aware of a reported plane crash near Louisville International Airport. First responders are onsite, and we will share more information as available. Please pray for the pilots, crew and everyone affected. We will share more soon.”
Beshear says the “situation is serious” and that he is heading to Louisville.
