Person injured, dog killed in Bowling Green house fire
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- An adult was injured and a dog was killed Saturday night after a fire broke out in a home in Bowling Green.
Fire officials responded to the home at 2636 Russellville Road on Saturday at 10 p.m.
Officials said the fire was contained within 10 minutes.
The home sustained considerable smoke and water damage. One person escaped with injuries, while a dog did not make it out alive. A second dog was able to escape, but was injured as well.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
