People gather to show support for veterans battling depression

BOWLING GREEN Ky.-A group showing support for veterans gathered in Bowling Green Wednesday afternoon.

Staff of the Bowling Green VA Clinic along with other volunteers gathered to bring attention to the 20 veterans lost a day to suicide.

While there, participants held signs with quotes like “I care” and “I will listen.” Attendees then read off their signs and spoke about why they’re showing support for veterans.

A moment of silence was also included in memory of those veterans lost to suicide. Staff of the clinic say they knew support would pour in.
