Pedestrian struck by vehicle, killed in Hopkins County
MADISONVILLE, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a fatal crash in Hopkins County.
According to a release, KSP Post 2 responded to U.S. 41 and Old Nortonville–White Plains Road in Nortonville to assist in the response and investigation of a collision on Tuesday evening.
KSP says a vehicle, driven by a Hopkins County man, struck a pedestrian who witnesses say was standing in the roadway.
The pedestrian, Joseph David, 69, of Nortonville, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hopkins County Coroner.
The investigation is ongoing.
