Pedestrian struck by pickup truck in Glasgow, police say

GLASGOW, Ky. – A pedestrian is injured after reportedly being struck by a vehicle in Glasgow on Monday.
According to the Glasgow Police Department, officers responded to Cleveland Avenue regarding a vehicle versus pedestrian injury accident.
Police say a preliminary investigation revealed a Mazda truck driven by Jacob Pate was traveling eastbound on Cleveland Avenue when it struck William Cain, who was walking in the area.
Cain was transported by Barren/Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for his injuries, police say.
The Glasgow Fire Department additionally assisted on scene. Further details have not been released at this time.
