Pedestrian hit by vehicle on I-65

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Around 4:46 a.m. Wednesday, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on I-65 near the 23 mile marker, according to WCSO.
Authorities said a 26-year-old woman was seen walking along the shoulder of I-65 southbound, and when the driver of a truck pulled over to see if she needed help, the woman ran across the southbound lanes and was hit by a car.
The pedestrian was transported to a hospital in Nashville for treatment.
Authorities said the woman’s condition is currently not known.
