Paws in the Park to support the new Dugas community dog park
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A few fury friends in south-central Kentucky are getting a new dog park. Dugas Community Park in Scottsville is hosting Paws in the park to create a space for any dog. This Saturday, all dog lovers will be able to bring their dogs to participate in a dog pageant and give your dog the chance to socialize.
Brittany Fisher, the executive director of Dugas Park, says “This dog park is scaled so that the whole region can use it, not just those in Scottsville and Allen County, but just giving them a place to roam and have fun or socialize their dogs a little bit too, while still being safe. it’s just great to be able to provide that for the community.”
Paws in the Park will be April 13 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be vendors a dog pageant and so much more for you and your dog. The pageant will have a $10 entry fee and a $20 entry fee for the dog walk entry fee.
