Parrots of the Carribean supports BRAWA
BARREN COUNTY, KY.- The Henry Clark Foundation is organizing the Parrots of the Caribbean event, with all proceeds benefiting the Barren River Animal Welfare Association (BRAWA).
As Connie Greer explains, “We are a nonprofit, so we completely depend on fundraisers and donations… This money impacts just that every day—care for the homeless animals at the shelter.”
Without community support, nonprofits like BRAWA wouldn’t be able to operate.
Rhonda Trautman, chairmen of the event, adds, “If we weren’t here, I’m not sure what would be going on with the homeless animals in our community.”
BRAWA provides critical services, including rescuing, protecting, and caring for animals in need. Their support even extends beyond Barren County, offering low-cost spay and neuter options for neighboring communities.
With such wide-reaching impact, events like Parrots of the Caribbean are vital. Attendees can expect festive music, colorful leis at the door, and a lively, tropical-themed evening.
The money raised through goes directly to helping homeless animals through BRAWA’s ongoing efforts.
