Parking situation ahead of Downtown BGKY Harvest Festival
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Downtown BGKY Harvest Festival is set for Oct. 14. However, most people that make the trip downtown are unsure of where to park.
The Downtown Development Commission of the City of Bowling Green has created a parking map that shows the more than 1,200 free parking spots in downtown Bowling Green.
If you’re unsure of where to park, here are just some of the lots that are free to the public.
“They range everywhere from the parking structure itself… That’s over 700 spots… to the BGMU lot that is across the street from the Bowling Green Ballpark to the Warren County Justice Center lot, and its adjoining parking at the Columns lot off Center Street. It even includes the Paxton House lot, which is also off Center Street,” Telia Butler, downtown development coordinator with the City of Bowling Green, says.
Maps are currently available online and physical copies will be given out at the Harvest Festival.
