Pandemic leads to downtime providing artists extra time for creativity
BOWLING GREEN Ky.-While the Covid-19 pandemic has been bad for the world of live music, it has actually yielded some positive benefits for creative types.
Bowling Green guitarist and songwriter Blake Wetton told WNKY he’s been able to write a decent amount of songs since the pandemic began.
Wetton said he and his poetry writing friends have been inspired to work on new material due to current circumstances.
With the majority of places having to shut down due to the pandemic, the artist noted that it was easier to finish projects since there weren’t as many distractions.
