Panda Express donates to Kids on the Block
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-The new Panda Express in Bowling Green is celebrating their launch, and they’re doing it by giving back to children in the community.
Wednesday morning, Panda Express cut ribbons on their new location on Scottsville Road.
The Chinese-America food restaurant offers menu items such orange chicken and broccoli beef.
In addition to food, Panda Express is providing 25 new job opportunities to the local community.
Wednesday’s launch event is not just about welcoming the community to the new restaurant location, it’s about giving back to the community. Half of proceeds from sales on launch day will be donated to Kids on the Block.
“This is one of the things that touches the most. We like to give back to the kids. This is one of the organizations here that loves to give back to the kids, so that’s why we chose them,” said Nixsa Rodriguez, area coach of operations at Panda Express.
