Owensboro man charged with sexual crime involving deer

CENTRAL CITY, Ky. – An Owensboro man is behind bars on a charge related to a sexual crime involving a deer.

According to a uniform citation, a driver contacted dispatch on Saturday in Central City after they reportedly witnessed a male subject having sexual intercourse with a dead deer.

Authorities say they located a male matching the given description walking on Phillip Stone Way in Central City.

Central City police say the subject was identified as 32-year-old Allen Osborne of Owensboro.

The Central City Police Department says Osborne had deer fur on the lower part of his hoodie and blood on his hands and boxers.

Osborne was arrested and transported to the Muhlenberg County Detention Center. He remains incarcerated on a charge of sexual crimes against animals.
