Owensboro man charged with rape

OWENSBORO, Ky. – On Wednesday, Kentucky State Police arrested a man suspected of having a sexual relationship with a woman with an intellectual disability in Ohio County.
According to a social media post by KSP, the arrest was in relation to a 2021 investigation that recently led to an indictment and warrant by the Ohio County Grand Jury.
Greg A. Rafferty, 42, of Owensboro was arrested and charged with second-degree rape (intellectual disability), possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.
Rafferty is lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
