Owensboro man arrested, over 190 child sexual abuse videos uncovered

OWENSBORO, Ky. – An Owensboro man faces dozens of counts after police say they uncovered over 190 videos of child sexual abuse materials.

The Owensboro Police Department says as part of an online investigation, 26-year-old Mason H. Kazlauskas of Owensboro was arrested on Tuesday morning.

Authorities say Owensboro police detectives identified Kazlauskas as a suspect, and he was taken into custody at his residence off the 2100 block of Griffith Place West following a search warrant.

According to police, preliminary findings led to the discovery of more than 190 videos of child sexual abuse materials.

Authorities say additional charges are expected after a full forensic analysis of evidence.

Kazlauskas remains at the Daviess County Detention Center on 20 counts of distribution of material portraying sexual performance by minor under 12, 15 counts of distribution of material portraying sexual performance by a minor over 12 and under 18, 20 counts of material portraying sexual performance by minor under 12 and 15 counts of possession of material portraying sexual performance by minor over 12 and under 18.
