Overturned cement truck snarls traffic on Interstate Drive near the Corvette plant
A cement truck overturned on Interstate Drive at about 8 a.m. Friday morning causing traffic delays in that area.
At 8:25 a.m. Interstate Drive was completely shut down to give wreckers room to right the vehicle, Bowling Green Police Department spokesman Officer Ronnie Ward said.
“The truck is loaded with cement,” Ward said. “The cement is contained in the drum of the truck.”
No one was injured when the truck overturned, he said.
Drivers should avoid the area if possible or seek alternate routes to their destinations until at least 10:30 a.m., Ward said.
