Orchestra Kentucky welcomes new staff member just in time for concert

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- After months of being unable to hold concerts, Orchestra Kentucky is back with a new director of development and a comeback concert on the calendar.

Denise Lubey has joined the Orchestra Kentucky staff as the new director of development. Lubey has been a longtime fan of Orchestra Kentucky.

Lubey said it’s a great time to be joining the team, as Orchestra Kentucky is planning a concert at the National Corvette Museum amphitheater. The theme of the concert will be Summer Blockbusters.

This socially distanced concert will mark the end of a months long hiatus for live music, something Lubey says she’s ready to see.

“I have been craving to see live music for so many months now. What a wonderful opportunity to go out there and be at the Corvette Museum with our wonderful orchestra,” Lubey said.

The concert is scheduled for this Friday with a rain date planned for Saturday.
