One lane of U.S. 31-W to close Jan. 6

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A portion of U.S. 31-W will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 6 beginning at 9 a.m.

According to Bowling Green Municipal Utilities, the right southbound lane at 553 U.S. 31-W will be impacted by the closure.

Crews will be repairing a water main, according to BGMU.

The closure is not expected to affect the intersection of Fairview Avenue and U.S. 31-W.

According to BGMU, the lane is expected to remain closed for around 24 hours to allow time for concrete to properly cure after repairs are completed.
