One lane of Chestnut Street to close on Thursday for utility work

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Bowling Green Municipal Utilities will be installing water meters on Thursday along Chestnut Street.

From 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., one lane of Chestnut will be closed from East 12th Avenue to East 13th Avenue.

The left hand turning lane from East 12th Avenue on to Chestnut will also be closed.

Crews are advising motorists to use caution when traveling in the area.
