One killed in Edmonson County wreck

BROWNSVILLE, Ky. – One person is dead and two are injured following a single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Edmonson County.

Kentucky State Police are investigating the wreck in the 6,000 block of Ky. 259.

Marshall T. Hornback, 65, of Mammoth Cave was operating a 1994 Chevrolet truck northbound on Ky. 259 in Edmonson County. For unknown reasons, Hornback’s vehicle exited the right shoulder of the roadway and struck a tree.

Hornback was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Edmonson County Coroner’s Office.  Two passengers in the vehicle were injured in the collision. Quentin A. Hornback, 35, of Mammoth Cave was transported by EMS to Medical Center in Bowling Green and Martha Hornback, 62, was flown to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of injuries.
