One injured in Glasgow wreck

GLASGOW, Ky. – Glasgow police charged a Bowling Green man Wednesday with driving without a license following an injury collision in Barren County.

Wednesday, the Glasgow Police Department responded to an injury accident at the intersection of West Main Street and Veterans Outer Loop.

A 2012 Chevy Truck being operated by Josue Carranza-Angel, of Bowling Green, was traveling Northbound on Veterans Outer Loop and struck a Chevy Avalanche being operated by DeWayne Poynter, if Glasgow, who was traveling southbound on Veterans Outer Loop and attempting to make a left turn from Veterans Outer Loop onto West Main Street, according to a release from Glasgow Police Department. Poynter was taken by ambulance to  hospital.

Carranza-Ángel was cited with not having an operator’s license, Barren Circuit Court record show.
