Ohio County Coroner’s Office seeking identity of body found

OHIO COUNTY, Ky. – The Ohio County Coroner’s Office is seeking help to identify a body that has been found outside of an area church.
According to a social media post, the Ohio County Coroner’s Office responded Monday to a report of a dead adult male found lying on the porch of Green River Baptist Church off of Highway 231 South in Cromwell.
The coroner’s office states the male is described as an adult, white male that is estimated to be between 60 to 70 years old. In addition, the male is 6 feet tall and has long, blondish thinning hair and a beard. He was wearing an RWB baseball cap with a smiley face on it, an aqua green jacket with a southwest design strip across the chest, pajama pants with a cartoon print and a gold initial ring on the left pinky, although not legible.
According to the coroner’s office, the male was “very undernourished” at the time he was found.
The individual had a blue, fairly new mountain bike as well, the coroner’s office says.
The coroner’s office further states the male subject had been seen earlier today near Jones Funeral Home in Morgantown around 1 to 2 p.m. and had been seeking shelter from the rain last night. Officials say the male may have died from exposure to the weather elements.
If anyone has information on this individual’s identity, contact the Ohio County Coroner’s Office at 270-875-3926.
