Oak Grove man celebrates second win from lottery scratch-off ticket

OAK GROVE, Ky. – An Oak Grove man is celebrating a $50,000 win from the Kentucky Lottery.
According to lottery officials, a man, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he regularly buys Kentucky Lottery Scratch-offs when heading home from work.
On Oct. 13, officials say the man stopped at 115 One Stop Market in Oak Grove, where he purchased a $50 Millionaire Club Scratch-off.
“I had a feeling,” he said when asked why he picked this particular game.
The man scratched the ticket and scanned it to reveal he had won $50,000, the game’s second largest prize.
The man says he couldn’t even sleep that night.
The next morning, officials say he traveled to Kentucky Lottery headquarters to claim his winnings. He received a check for $36,000, after taxes.
Lottery officials say this is not the first win for the man, who won $10,000 previously on a Kentucky Lottery Scratch-off.
115 One Stop Market will receive $500 for selling the winning ticket.
