Norton Children’s Hospital expands care in region

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Norton Children’s is expanding its pediatric care campus to meet the growing demand for children’s healthcare in the region.

Health experts say the need for pediatric services is higher than ever, prompting this major investment. The expansion is expected to create more than 1,000 new jobs, boosting both healthcare access and the local economy.

“We absolutely believe that increased access is going to get us better results from a healthcare perspective,” said Russ Cox, president and CEO of Norton Healthcare.

The new pediatric campus will be located in Jeffersontown and will include a full-service hospital for children with complex medical needs. It will also feature advanced research facilities and expanded specialty services.

The goal is to provide families across Kentucky with quality care, closer to home. News 40 will continue to bring you updates as the project moves forward.
