Non-profit gathers community leaders to discuss national importance of Kentucky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – All Things Kentucky were celebrated Thursday evening at the Pennyroyal Market.

The non-profit, Kentucky to the World, partnered with the business for a gathering of community leaders to share the organization’s plans for future events and a curriculum that promotes the cultural and intellectual reputation of our state.

While bourbon and horse racing are a large part of that, Kentucky to the World wants to make sure the rest of the nation knows the state has even more.

“We are an exceptional state, Kentucky, and sharing that story is powerful and important. We have people in our state who have created extraordinary businesses. We have tech hubs. We have gorgeous music, poetry, poets, all the things that make our state so extraordinary,” said Alice Alt, Interim Executive Director, Kentucky to the World.

The Pennyroyal Market sells Kentucky-based products exclusively.

Alt said it is the perfect location for what Kentucky to the World described as a refresh of who we are: the people, places, products, culture, and history of the bluegrass state.

The Pennyroyal Market is located at 2459 Mount Victor Lane in Bowling Green,
