No tax rate increases in next year’s city of Bowling Green budget
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- On Tuesday, Bowling Green’s city commission will learn about the 2019-2020 fiscal year operating budget.
A presentation will be given on the budget, which includes details on capital improvement projects and agency funding.
According to Bowling Green Mayor Bruce Wilkerson, the budget will not include any tax rate increases.
Commissioners will first vote on the budget at their meeting on June 4, followed by the second and final vote at a meeting on June 18.
Tuesday’s city commission meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. inside City Hall.
