New winery opens in Rockfield

ROCKFIELD, Ky. – The owners of a winery in Warren County are saying a toast after they officially opened Friday.

It’s called the Traveler’s Cellar Winery.

It’s located in the 3200 block of Fuqua Road in Rockfield. The winery features a tasting house and a bar.

The winery is owned by the Huff family, who started growing the vineyard in 2018. The Huffs are avid travelers, which they say, fuels their passion for wine making.

Derrick Huff said he’s looking forward to this new venture.

“We enjoy the experience so much, we have now turned our hobby into a full-fledged business. We’re really excited about offering the community,” Huff said.

“If you’d like to try some of the wine, the tasting bar is open.
