New treatment is showing promise for Alzheimer’s

A new treatment is showing promise at slowing the onset of Alzheimer’s symptoms, effectively postponing the disease. Researchers at Washington University in St. Louis found the experimental drug is effective for people in their 40s and 50s who are genetically prone to Alzheimer’s. However, the funding of the study is being threatened by government cutbacks.
