New thriller “Horntak” is being filmed in south central Kentucky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Production is now underway on a brand new thriller movie being shot in south central Kentucky.

“Horntak” involves a family escaping from a cult-like group in the woods.

The movie is still being filmed, so details are scarce at the moment.

News 40 was able to speak with a couple of the actors in the movie to learn how they bond over this experience.

“Life is all about doing fun stuff and getting out of the box and adventure. This life checks all of those. We love to do unique things together. This just seemed like a perfect opportunity, and we’re both beyond the moon to just be a part of it,” Derrick Huff, who stars in the movie, says.

His daughter, Gracie, also stars in the film.

Filming for Horntak is set to continue in Warren, Barren, Edmonson and Hart counties into October.
