New risk factors for Alzheimer’s

Scientists at Columbia University are finding new signs that risk factors and biomarkers related to alzheimer’s are associated with cognition much earlier in life than previously understood.

The study highlights risk factors that can be seen as young as aged 24 to 44.

Researchers say the findings reinforce the importance of early prevention.
