New restaurant and pub open downtown
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green is welcoming many new businesses to the area, one of which opened its doors today.
The Smug Beagle is now open on the square, directly above the brand-new Italian restaurant Pompeii in the sport formerly occupied by the Night Cap.
The bar features finger foods and, of course, adult beverages for locals to enjoy.
The menu consists of multiple items such as burgers, wings, and pork rinds.
“Downtown Bowling Green was picked for a lot of reasons, it’s really getting vibrant again and it just doesn’t have many places like this around, so we thought this would be the perfect spot,” said Steve Larkin, owner of The Smug Beagle.
The transformation of downtown is an exciting change for the new businesses and for the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce.
