New report: Kentucky is the worst state in the nation to retire
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A new report states that Kentucky is the worst state in the nation to retire.
The findings come in a report issued by the personal finance website, Wallethub.com.
Researchers compared all 50 states across 46 key metrics.
The report found that Kentucky ranks 44th in life expectancy, 35th in health care facilities per capita and 28th in elderly-friendly labor market.
According to Wallethub, the best place to retire is Florida, followed by South Dakota and Colorado.
