New project addresses mental health during forum
BOWLING GREEN, KY.-The BRADD Anchor Project is in full effect and your suggestions are wanted. Anyone and everyone in the community is welcome to attend the forum.
With more than 21 million dollars in funding to ensure that the funding is being utilized to help anyone who is struggling to maintain their mental health.
Melanie Watts, the director of community engagement at Life Skills tells us, “That’s something that we desperately need here. Our jail is overcrowded with people who really are there because of mental health issues, which causes the behaviors.”
The forum to discuss the BRADD Anchor Project is being held next Monday, July 29th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Justice Center on the fourth floor in courtroom C.
