New COVID-19 cases reported in Warren, Simpson and Logan Counties

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- On Friday, Gov. Andy Beshear announced 54 new, positive cases of the coronavirus in Kentucky. In total, 302 people have been diagnosed.

Beshear also reported three additional deaths. The coronavirus claimed the lives of a 77-year-old man from Hopkins County and a 75-year-old woman from Fayette County. On Friday night, Beshear announced that a 73-year-old from Jefferson County had also died. The death toll in Kentucky now stands at eight.

In south central Kentucky, the Barren River District Health Department reported two additional positive cases in Warren County, now totaling 12 cases.

Simpson County has the second most cases in the area, with one additional case, totaling 6 diagnoses.

Logan County also reported an additional case, totaling two cases.
