New amphitheater coming to Edmonson County

EDMONSON COUNTY, Ky. – The Lions Club announced it is in the early stages of building a new amphitheater in Edmonson County.

The Quarry Amphitheater will be an outdoor venue located on Fairgrounds Road south of Brownsville.

The plans for the amphitheater are to have live music, festivals and community gatherings while creating a family-friendly environment.

During the early stages of construction, the Lions Club is asking for help from local volunteers.

It is requesting assistance from anyone with equipment, experience operating machinery or those who want to lend a hand with manual labor.

According to the Lions Club, the Quarry Amphitheater is meant to be a special place for Edmonson County where families can gather and help grow the community.
