New, $148 million manufacturing facility coming to Kentucky Transpark

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- CROWN Cork and Seal, a producer of metal beverage cans, promotional packaging, and food and consumer goods enclosures, will break ground on a $148 million manufacturing plant at the Kentucky Transpark on Friday.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear along with local officials and company executives will be on hand for the event.

CROWN will employ 126 new workers at the facility, which will be 327,000 sq. ft.

The plant will open in spring 2021.

CROWN operates 239 facilities in 47 countries and employs over 33,000 people.
