NCAA regional concludes for Fuller

Luke Fuller

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The WKU Men’s Golf Team’s season came to an end Wednesday afternoon as graduate student Luke Fuller concluded his final round at the NCAA Regional hosted by Purdue.

Fuller replicated his consistency from the second round, shooting a 4-over 76 on Wednesday afternoon. He was very consistent through the round, posting pars on 10 of 18 holes and putting in a birdie on his fourth hole along with an eagle on his sixth hole at the par-72, 7,461-yard Kampen Golf Course.

The WKU grad student ended his tournament tying for 63rd which is a two-spot improvement from yesterday.

Fuller finishes his season with four top-10 finishes.

The end of Fuller’s tournament marks the end of a great season for the WKU Men’s Golf program under the tutelage of former Hilltopper golfer and first year Head Coach Austin King. King led the Tops to their first victory since the spring of 2016 at the Xavier Invitational in the fall.
