Nat’s Outdoor Sports begins 25th annual Bikes for Kids drive
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – For the 25th year, Nat’s Outdoor Sports is holding its annual Bikes For Kids drive.
The yearly tradition was started by in 1994 by the store’s founder, Nat Love.
Love thought it would be a great idea to give back to the community and help kids in need at Christmas time.
Nat’s is accepting both new and slightly used bikes, which will be repaired by workers to ensure they’re ready to go for their new owners.
Over the past 25 years, they’ve distributed over 4,500 bikes with the help of Jaycees and other sponsors.
Jaycees then helps distribute them with the assistance of the local Boys and Girls Club and school family resource centers.
