National Poetry Month at WKU

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – April is National Poetry Month, so we’re revisiting an idea from the spring time of 2022.

An English professor by the name of Tom Hunley at Western Kentucky University, helped bring a website to life called pennedtopinonbowlinggreen.com. The site was and still is meant for poetry, and Tom along with his student Kate Nezelek hope to add more to the map. It’s a simple process to send in a poem, and then your work becomes pinned to the map of the Bowling Green area like an address on the GPS.
