BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The National Corvette Museum has announced Amy Hardin as its new director of development.

On Wednesday, the museum said Hardin will bridge its mission with many philanthropic initiatives while developing, establishing and carrying out effective multi-year fundraising programs to support ongoing programs and activities at the National Corvette Museum.

“As we continue to grow and evolve, having a dynamic leader like Amy at the helm of our development efforts is crucial,” said Kaye Wagner, National Corvette Museum Board chair. “Her expertise in cultivating relationships and securing the support needed for key initiatives will energize our donor base and elevate our mission, which includes expanding its educational outreach, enhancing visitor experiences, and securing resources for the future growth of the Museum.”

According to the museum, Hardin has a background in nonprofit management and passion for the Corvette community.

She brings decades of experience in philanthropy, assisting organizations that include Western Kentucky University, Middle Tennessee State University and the American Cancer Society to build relationships and plan fundraising goals.

In addition, Hardin served as the director of philanthropy at the National Corvette Museum from 2018 through 2020.

Among her accomplishments, Hardin also was instrumental in developing Elfi’s Silver Pearl Sisterhood and securing funding for the E. Pierce Marshall Performance Gallery, the museum says. The museum says she is an advocate for the special needs community, namely those with autism spectrum disorder.

“I’m honored to rejoin such an enthusiastic and passionate team at the National Corvette Museum,” Hardin said. “The Corvette has always been more than just a car—it is a symbol of American innovation and culture. I look forward to collaborating with our community of supporters to ensure the Museum continues to thrive and inspire future generations of Corvette enthusiasts.”

Hardin received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Western Kentucky University.
