National Corvette Museum celebrates 25th anniversary week
BOWLING GREEN Ky.- Corvettes are everywhere for the 25th anniversary of the National Corvette Museum, which started Wednesday with the 2019 Caravan, a rolling car show of Corvettes from all over the country.
National chairman of the 2019 Corvette Caravan Jeffrey Duda said it’s a good year to be a Corvette enthusiast as he gets to meet international fans as well.
“I am over the moon excited at the fact that we have all of these people from all over the world, not just the country,” Duda said.
The 2020 Corvette Stingray made a stop in its tour to the Corvette Museum, giving visitors an opportunity to see it in person, as well as design their own model through an interactive game.
The anniversary week is a big day not only for the museum but also Corvette enthusiasts.
“It’s a little overwhelming. I’m a little emotional to tell you the truth. I’m a little choked up. I love them. They’re a quintessential American icon,” said Eddie Epstein a Corvette fan from Delaware.
“It’s incredible man. This is my first time up here doing one of these events, and it’s just insane. I’ve never seen this many Vettes in one place,” said Steven Marr of Nashville, Tenn.
The event is a sign that fans of America’s sports car will never retire
“It’s more than just a vehicle. It’s about the hobby and the lifestyle that comes along with it. It’s more than just a car,” Duda said.
