National Corvette Museum announces new Education Gallery

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. –  The National Corvette Museum is adding a new educational experience for families.

The Education Gallery will be a research and education institution where teachers and families can bring children from second grade through middle school.

The gallery will include a diverse and inclusive education using interactive technology and will be located in the Nostalgia section of the museum.

“We want them to walk away with an appreciation of, not only Corvette history and the people involved in Corvette history, but also Corvette’s future and how we’re going to be powering the future, how we have engineers and mechanics and designers,” said Deb Howard of the National Corvette Museum.

The gallery design will mimic the General Motors Technical Center in Warren, Michigan, which will also serve as the theme.

Construction will begin in May or early June this year and may be completed by early spring of 2023.

The project was made possible by donors Tim and Melanie McMichael of Gypsum, Colorado.
