Nashville man arrested after stolen vehicle found near local Chuck E. Cheese

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Tennessee man is facing charges after police say a vehicle reported stolen was located near a local Chuck E. Cheese.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded Thursday afternoon to Greenwood Mall for an attempt to locate.

The citation states an officer had located a stolen vehicle at the Chuck E. Cheese parking lot off of the 2600 block of Scottsville Road.

Authorities say two people were detained at the scene, including 54-year-old Edward Nettles of Nashville, Tennessee.

According to the citation, Nettles stated he had been making payments on the vehicle and that he was meeting the other individual “to trade the vehicle.”

Police say the other individual stated he was meeting with Nettles to swap their vehicles.

Nettles was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, $10,000 or more.

He remains at the Warren County Regional Jail.
