Nashville-based illustrator Jessica Roux to appear for book giveaway
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Public Library is welcoming Nashville-based illustrator Jessica Roux to two of its locations for a book giveaways.
Roux is the author and illustrator of “Floriography: An Illustrated Guide to the Victorian Language of Flowers,” “Ornithography: An Illustrated Guide to Bird Lore & Symbolism” and the “Woodland Wardens Oracle Deck & Guidebook.”
During these events, copies of “Ornithography” and “Floriography” will be given away.
The events will take place at 6 p.m. on July 8 at HOTEL INC and on July 15 at the Lisa Rice Library.
The library says Roux is a plant and animal enthusiast who uses “subdued colors and rhythmic shapes” to draw flora and fauna “with intricate detail reminiscent of old-world beauty.”
