Multiple arrests result from Bowling Green drug bust

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Four individuals are behind bars following a drug bust at a Bowling Green residence.

According to a uniform citation, Bowling Green-Warren County detectives conducted surveillance on Tuesday afternoon at 1570 Newton Ave. after receiving multiple complaints about ongoing drug activity consistent with drug trafficking.

Authorities say a traffic stop was conducted on a subject leaving the home who had methamphetamine in his possession.

Authorities say they observed two other subjects leave the home. Police say they later obtained a search warrant for the residence.

Authorities say a large amount of methamphetamine, three handguns, a dollar bill with white powder and a syringe in the home.

Judah Haws, 22, is charged with failure to appear, trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (greater than or equal to 2 grams methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance, first-degree fentanyl, receiving stolen property (firearm) and tampering with physical evidence.

Joseph Crawford McDorman, 37, of Portland, Tennessee is charged with failure to or improper signal, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Jared Omar Pero, 45,Pero, 45, is charged with trafficking in first-degree controlled substances, first offense (greater than or equal to 2 grams methamphetamine), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, fentanyl, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property (firearm) and tampering with physical evidence. Pero was also served an arrest warrant out of Simpson County.

Leigha E. Rivas, is charged with trafficking in a first-degree controlled substance, first offense (greater than or equal 2 grams of methamphetamine), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, fentanyl, receiving stolen property (firearm) and tampering with physical evidence.

The investigation is ongoing.
