Multiple area nonprofits to receive grants during Annual Women’s Fund Dinner

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Community Foundation of South Central Kentucky is preparing for its Annual Women’s Fund Dinner on Tuesday, Oct. 21.
According to a release by the Community Foundation of South Central Kentucky, the dinner is set for 5 p.m. at the Knicely Conference Center.
The evening will feature presentations from four nonprofit finalists competing for transformative impact grants, totaling $188,000, awarded by the Women’s Fund. The Women’s Fund is comprised of 312 local women who pool their resources to support high-impact community initiatives.
Each finalist will present their proposal live, with members of the Women’s Fund voting to determine the grant recipients:
- Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc. – Domestic Violence Mobile Advocacy Response Unit
Bringing trauma-informed support directly to survivors in underserved areas. - Family Enrichment Center – Renovation for Program Expansion
Eliminating waitlists and expanding services to prevent child abuse. - Habitat for Humanity of Bowling Green/Warren County – Rooted and Rising Critical Repair Program
Providing urgent home repairs to stabilize neighborhoods. - Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky – JA Girls
Empowering young women through leadership and business skills.
Grant Awards:
First place: $100,000
Second place: $68,000
Remaining finalists: $10,000 each
