Motorcycle escort from BG to Brandenburg for passed biker
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-Harley-Davidson Bowling Green is rallying around one of their fallen fellow riders and customers.
Brad Allen found out he had one year left to live from terminal cancer. He said he wanted to spend his last 12 months traveling around the country, following behind his wife on a Harley.
Even though he lived in Brandenburg, Kentucky about two hours away, he found his home at the Harley-Davidson Bowling Green. He sadly passed away three weeks ago. Motorcyclists gathered together on Sunday, the morning of his funeral, and held a motorcycle escort for him from Bowling Green to Brandenburg.
“When he would come in he was just awesome. his personality, his spirit, it was very emotional when he would come in, when he would leave because it would make us who knew him at the dealership, pause and think about our lives,” said Harley-Davidson Bowling Green business manager Dale Griffin.
