Morgantown man apprehended in Tennessee with stolen vehicle

MORGANTOWN, Ky. – A Morgantown man has been apprehended in Tennessee after a vehicle theft.

According to a release by Morgantown police chief Giles Taylor, the Morgantown Police Department received information from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office regarding a vehicle reported stolen from New Image Car Care.

John Adams Jr., 38, of Morgantown was seen entering a black Chevy Silverado outside of the business before leaving the scene on Sunday, authorities say.

Taylor states Adams and the vehicle were found in Macon County, Tennessee on Monday morning.
