Morgantown hosts open meeting for 10-year Comprehensive Plan

MORGANTOWN, Ky. – Morgantown is holding a comprehensive plan meeting Tuesday night, and it is open to the public.

The comprehensive plan is a 10-year plan for Morgantown and what the future could hold for the town and its residents.

Mayor Billy Phelps tells News 40 that expanding the downtown area is a huge priority and that the growth of the city looks good.

However, other troubles and concerns by residents could go by the wayside, so its events like the one tonight that are very important to make sure that everyone’s voice is heard.
